Who are top amateur golf players from the San Francisco Bay Area?

There aren’t many top men amateurs in the Bay Area. According to golfweek.com, Patrick Nagle of Pacifica is around #30. Among the women, Mina Harigae is from either Monterey or Salinas, and she is a teen queen who has been winning the California State amateur for years now.

However, I don’t think that their talent necessarily translates into the instructor who is right for you. But I guess that’s one way to try to find a good instructor.
