A Flying Visit to Gloucester Airport to Meet Our Latest Copy Writer

Another great excuse to get out of the office for a couple of days, and the fact that we had decided to take on an additional copywriter for a couple of months to help us through our launch, it seemed a good idea to go and introduce ourselves to Jenny in Gloucester , who offers a freelance copywriting service in Cheltenham. Jenny works to the highest of standards and was recommended to us by my wifes brother in law.

Mannx2 fly straight into Gloucester own little Airport, a fantastic service that only takes about 60 minutes. Landing at Gloucester Airport is a great experience, with its exceptionally short runway, only the smallest commercial flights are allowed to land here. Gloucester Airport has to have the quickest customs in the world, within 4 minutes of stepping off the plane, you are outside the main terminal building.

Gloucester Airport is situated halfway between Cheltenham and Gloucester and is such a small airport, not even having the service of a bus stop or a taxi rank. Luckily for us, we had arranged a Gloucester taxi to collect us up at 9.20am and taxi us to our Gloucester Hotel.

Once arrived and checked in, we found we had a room with a view right opposite was the Gloucester Rugby Club Stadium, shame there was no game on tonight as we had a cracking view of the pitch from our second floor window of this listed Edwardian building, one of the only Gloucester Hotels in walking distance of the City Centre, as many of them are three and four miles outside of the centre.

We had arranged to meet Jenny at a pub called Cafe Rene for lunch, which apparently has a reputation as a highly haunted building. Over 300 years of reference to ghosts, it sure has some history about it, it even has a deep well inside the bar area, I wonder how many people have fallen down there over the years after a night of drinking.

Our lunch was very successful, our new copywriter was on the same wave length as us, which will make managing the copy more stress free, also, Jenny was very clued up on search engine marketing, so it seems like we found a very good copywriter worth looking after.

Just to mention the hotel we stayed at, The Albert Hotel in Gloucester. If you are a keen rugby man and your home team play Gloucester, opposite the ground with plenty of pubs and restaurants close by, this place could not be beaten for its location, there really would be no better Hotel in Gloucester to book than this one!
